Shibuya Girls RISO Print

€9.00

High-school girls eating snacks in Shibuya. I love walking around Tokyo and draw what I find interesting. This illustration is based on one of the pictures I took while doing street photography.

📐 Size: A5 (148 x 210 mm)

📄 Paper type: 160kg グラフィーCoC paper

🖍 Colors: Peach and Blueberry Ink

🌱 Plastic-free packaging

⛩ Printed locally in Tokyo with love 💕

💜 Risograph or RISO is a printing method that was invented in Japan in the 1950s. In RISO, every color is a separate ink that is printed in an individual layer. This way you can get more intense colors compared to traditional printing since inks are not mixed. I love the irregularity of the textures and the misalignment of the layers, it gives prints a more interesting, vintage handmade look - every piece is unique! It takes a bit more time and effort than digital printing but I’m loving his method and the quality it offers.
